Media Center didn’t go well, but with DVDs not playing though there and being fine with Media Player and cyberlink it seems to all go back to the video drivers being incompatible with Media Center rather than the Freecom device itself. The user interface looks antique and ill thought out. Negatives The bundled software isn’t very flexible. However this time when I select the folder containing the BDA drivers it cannot find the drivers it needs. After going up channels and back down the channels again it’ll suddenly find the video again!

After going up channels and back down the channels again it’ll suddenly find the video again! File sizes are perfectly manageable around 2Gb for an hourand there’s no tweaking freevom unlike my last attempt using Hauppague which devoured HD space at a staggering 1Gb a minute!! Performance is a bit choppy now and again, but on the whole it works.

Similar help and support threads. One minor gripe though – automatic daylight saving when the clocks vissta forward or backward will screw up your schedules as the TMMonitor seems linked intrinsically to the system clock – so be aware if you’re recording a weekly or daily programme, you’ll need to reschedule your recordings once the clocks have changed.
This works fine and it tells me that the device has been installed correctly.

Has anyone managed to uxb 2x Freecom sticks working? Thanks, worked with Win Media Center very well using 64bit drivers. The software installs but the driver doesn’t.

Then install the bda drivers and, when complete, plug in your freecom stick. I’m wondering whether the newer drivers don’t work!
Freecom 1tb lost date needs formatting, recovery help I recently plugged in my hdd into a media player, it worked for a couple of times and then there was vreecom error. Where is the XP like update?
Well i am pleased with it. I have tried both following the instructions to remove all traces of the drivers, and a completely clean reformatted PC with only the BDA drivers.
